Special memories in Gatehouse of Fleet 🌿
Love the location and ambiance. The staff were super friendly. The rooms were comfy and clean, and brekkie was spot on!
Had a bit of a hassle with the shower water not being hot in the morning, which was a bit of a drag.

Cozy stay but chilly dining!
Super friendly staff made us feel at home. We loved the bar area for some chill vibes. But wow, dinner was like eating in a freezer! They really need to crank up the heat in the dining area. Save yourself the frostbite and wear a warm coat! great experience despite the cold.

I appreciated the charm of Murray Arms in Gatehouse of Fleet. The room felt very comfortable with thoughtful amenities. I particularly liked the automatic light sensor in the bathroom, though it was a bit disruptive at night. Breakfast options were varied, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover a fruit juice and cereal bar hidden from my table view. The cooked breakfast was top-notch. the service left something to be desired. I attempted to visit the Burns room and bar twice but faced disappointment. both times there was no service or the area was locked. This was frustrating, as I wanted to unwind with friends at the hotel. The standard of the room was impressive, yet the £100 deposit felt a bit off-putting for a stay that didn’t scream budget. Response to feedback would enhance the experience significantly, as I emailed my thoughts on improvement but received no reply.
